During my childhood I spent the summer at our holiday home by Lake Balaton. My Father, a fanatic angler who has today more than 50 years experience, started to show me the first tricks when I was 6 years old. Time goes by, but since then angling has played a more and more important role in my life. At the begining of the '90s we started to pick up pieces of news about a new wave of Carp fishing. The bait is next to the hook, and it hangs on a thread? Sounded weird, but it worked. When I recall the tackle, and the rigs that we used to use at that time, it makes me laugh! :)
I have known my best friend Gábor Bali (Gaben) since 2006, and despite lots of experiences and common adventures, we still discuss and plan for hours and hours on how to catch more and more monster Carp. My favourite venues are the big lakes, where Carp fishing means a challange and always forces us to think and experment. I always follow the catch & release philosophy for all of my catches. ;)
